Within the PERISCOPE project, Sanofi will be taking the role of EFPIA Coordinator and will contribute in-kind to all work packages. This contribution will include providing scientific, statistical or bioinformatics expertise, conducting laboratory-based research activities and taking responsibility for the co-leadership of some work packages.  Sanofi will support the overall project management and coordination by acting as a member of the Consortium’s Management Team and Steering Committee. Furthermore, they will prepare and participate in interactions with regulatory agencies and support communication and dissemination activities.

Dr. Patricia Londoño-Hayes, Senior Director of R&D Initiatives, Europe at Sanofi will be the appointed EFPIA Coordinator of PERISCOPE. Dr. Londoño-Hayes is a scientific investigator with 18 years of experience in the Discovery, Research and Development of Vaccines. She has expertise on immunology, non-clinical pharmacology and infectious disease, including Pertussis, and has a track record in leading both programs and teams at the scientific/technical, operational and strategic levels in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors.
